Workshop Textiles to (un)cover by Anna Pylypenko. This workshop explores a fabric that does not touch our skin, nor does it drape our homes from the inside or out. Instead, it envelops and protects the very plants and crops that we consume. Agrotextile comes in many forms. It moves with the wind, forms folds, and remains dynamic.
The fabric deliberately confuses insects and birds, diffuses the wind, blocks weeds, and regulates the sun. Together, we will try to uncover and understand this fabric through our own hands and through conversation. The final work will be a collective drawing of a fabric that takes the shape of that which is covered. Anna Pylypenko is from Ukraine and is currently studying at the Faculty of Architecture at KU Leuven – Sint-Lucas Campus, Brussels. As part of the international master’s studio ‘Landing (The Farm)’, Anna visited the farm in October 2025 with their lecturer and architect Lars Fischer for a two-day introduction.
For all ages • No specific experience is required • In Dutch and English • Including lunch (drinks not included) • Welcome at the courtyard from 9.45 am

Sara ten Westenend is the partner of Boer Maarten. Ever since her studies at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, the arts and cooking have gone hand in hand. She cooks in the cultural sector and has been linked to nadine, a contemporary art lab in Brussels, for many years.
Since 2021, Sara has connected both her practices to the farm. It was the place where everything came together for her. Among other things, she initiated the project wie WIJ zijn, in which she explored the similarities between being an artist and being a farmer, together with six invited artists, various project partners and the public. She has since founded the non-profit organisation NDRGRND and is working on new projects centered around food (production) and the farm.
We cook with organic vegetables from the farm and local products • By reservation only • Booked tickets are not refundable • Sara will be serving a meat-free menu • If you have any questions or special diet requirements email: sara@ndrgrnd.be
